Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is the most established, paediatric multi-specialty hospital in
Eastern and Central Africa, providing healthcare to children in Kenya as well as those
referred from neighbouring countries. The hospital attends to over 400,000 patients annually
through a network of 18 medical centres, using a self-sustaining financing model.
Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit organization established in 1947.
Healthcare in Kenya is a centralized portal for all medical and health data in the country. The Portal and its sister platforms, the Kenya Medical Directory and Healthcare Summit enter their 3rd decade and enjoy significant support of major health stakeholders in Kenya.
